Egypt, Gezira Sporting Club Racetrack 18 October 2024
Tomorrow, Egypt will host the 12th stage of the President of the UAE Cup Series for Purebred Arabian Horses at the Gezira Sporting Club Racetrack in Cairo. With 55 horses participating in 6 races, this event is part of the 31st edition of the prestigious cup series.
Organized with the support of His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President, Deputy Prime Minister, and Minister of the Presidential Court, the event reflects his commitment to developing the Arabian horse racing industry and supporting breeders and owners worldwide. The Egyptian stage highlights the historical ties and distinguished fraternal relations between the UAE and Egypt, further emphasizing the UAE’s ongoing support for the prosperity of Arabian horse racing.
His Excellency Faisal Al Rahmani, Event Manager of the UAE President Cup race series, stated: “We are proud of the Egyptian stage and its distinguished position in the agenda of the esteemed Cup races. We are committed to continuing the support and care for Arabian horse races in Egypt.”
This event underlines the dedication to nurturing all contributors to the success and growth of Arabian horse racing. The races will be broadcast live on Yas Sports and Dubai Racing Channel.

Founded in 1882 and originally known as the Khedivial Sporting Club, this historic venue is located on the island of Zamalek.
