ARABIAN CLAIMING CHAMPIONSHIP STAKES
Seven Furlongs. For Arabian Three-Year Olds and Upward Which Must Have Started for A Claiming Price Of $10,000 Or Less Twice In 2023 At Any Texas Racetrack. No nomination fee. $200 to enter at time of entry and $200 to start. The $40,000 added and all fees to be divided 60% to winner, 20% to second, 10% to third, 6% to fourth, and 4% to fifth after sixth through last are paid $1,000 each. Weights: Three Year Olds, 120 Lbs.; Older, 124 Lbs. Total earnings in 2023 as determined by the information provided by Equibase Company will be used in determining preference of horses. The field will be limited to 14 starters.
Quick Rae AA, a 5-year-old full-brother to the reigning Horse of the Year Diamond Gem AA, triumphed in the $40,000 Arabian Claiming for 1400m Championship at Lonestar Park. After a 10-month break, Quick Rae AA made a successful return to racing. The second position was secured by last year’s winner, Kissoour, while AA Take a Chance claimed the third spot, with the race concluding in 1:34.67.
