The race held in honor of Suleiman the Magnificent, the 10th Sultan of the Ottoman Empire (G1/DHT), took place at the Istanbul Veliefendi Racecourse. This race, featuring 4+ year-old purebred Arabian horses, was run over a 1500-meteron the synthetic track.
The 2024 Kanuni Sultan Suleiman Race was claimed by Deniz Efe (Altaha – Ahubere / Caş), owned by Arif Çelik and ridden by jockey Ahmet Çelik. Bred by Anadolu Agricultural Enterprises and trained by Fırat Turan, this 5-year-old gray stallion achieved his 13th Group race victory, including five G1 wins, bringing his total career wins to 18.
