The International Federation of Purebred Arabian Horse Racing (IFAHR) and the French Horse Racing Authority (France Galop) have praised the support and patronage of His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President, Deputy Prime Minister, and Minister of the Presidential Court. They acknowledged his leading role in the development and prosperity of Arabian horse racing, reaching the highest global standards.
This commendation was made during the 28th annual General Assembly meeting of IFAHR, which concluded yesterday in Paris, with the participation of member states’ representatives and Arabian horse racing authorities from around the world. The meeting’s agenda included reviewing the significant support provided by Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan over the past 12 years, and his continuous commitment to developing Arabian horse racing in 25 countries worldwide, highlighting his dedication to enhancing the global standing of Arabian horses.
The meeting was chaired by Faisal Al Rahmani, President of IFAHR, attended by members of the Executive Office, representatives of the General Assembly member states, Guillaume de Saint-Seine, President of France Galop, Arnaud de Seyssel, Vice President of France Galop, and Valerie Ponting, representative of the World Arabian Horse Organization.
France Galop praised the efforts of IFAHR and the significant transformation achieved in the history of Arabian horse racing under Al Rahmani’s leadership. The meeting reviewed a report on IFAHR’s achievements, financial reports, and the classification committee’s report. It also saw the approval of the IFAHR Cup Series for Arabian Horses for 2025 and discussed proposed initiatives regarding the IFAHR ambassador and honorary membership.
Faisal Al Rahmani expressed his gratitude to France for hosting the event and to the President and Vice President of France Galop for attending the IFAHR meetings and overseeing the progress of the federation’s activities. He commended the efforts of all member states in the General Assembly and their commitment to implementing IFAHR’s resolutions and directives to sustain the successes of Arabian horse racing globally. Al Rahmani stated, “We received significant commendation from the IFAHR family and France Galop for Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan’s support and continuous patronage of the federation’s programs and initiatives to develop the Arabian horse racing system worldwide. His encouragement of owners and breeders to care for Arabian horses and improve production levels is invaluable. Without his support, these successes and achievements for Arabian horses, currently experiencing their golden era, would not have been possible.
