Race to be run under BFP-Galop-rules and open to professional, amateur and apprentice jockeys (no weight-allowances given). Race for all pure-bred Arabian horses registered at birth in a stud-book recognized by WAHO, horses trained by French professional trainers excluded of 3 years old & +, with max. 1 win during 2023, which did not bring more than 2500 euro.
Weights: 3-year-olds: 54 kg (fillies: – 2kg) 4 years & + olds: 59 kg (fillies: – 2kg)
Penalties: Max penalties 3kg, all calculated since 01/01/2023: the highest among:
3 kg for that one win during 2023 or 2 kg for each second place (since 01/01/2023) or 1 kg for each third place (since 01/01/2023)
Allowances: the horse that was not in the money or did not start in 2023: – 1kg
HERITAGE HORSES 16: 5 years & + olds: 60 kg. Heritage horses allowed several “Heritage wins”. Penalties concern performances in “open” races only.

In a thrilling resurgence of Arabian racing in Belgium, the action returned to the prestigious HIPPODROME DE MONS-GHLIN. Nine purebred Arabians were declared to compete on November 23, 2023, in the Wathba Stallions Cup 6: “Unluckies.” The challenging race covered a distance of 2100 meters, offering a purse of 5000 EUR to the participants.
