AJS Alkadriyah (FR) (AF AlBahar x Frangipane Al Maury), opened the proceedings of the season with a 2¼- length win for trainer Mohammed Salama Ashour in the Purebred Arabian Maiden Plate for 3-6YO fillies and mares over 1200m with Rashid Ali Al-Marri in the saddle.
The Mohammed Nawaf M N Al-Rayes-owned and Mohammed Ghazali-trained Taya (FR) (Dahess) finished second under jockey Lukas Delozier while the Rashid Antar K A Al-Marri-owned and Mohamed Khaled Elahmed-trained Roqayya (QA) (Alam Al Khalediah) finished third under jockey Anas Al Seyabi.
