The Wathba Stallions Cup – Rodomonte Award, reserved for 3-year-old rookies, saw a remarkable performance by Fulminzef. Trained by Massimiliano Narduzzi and owned by Scuderia Clodia, Fulminzef made a winning debut. The horse, sired by Mu’azzaz and out of Zefira Bybonorvesu, was bred by Salvatorica Nazarena Tilocca and ridden to victory by Maikol Arras.
Fulminzef took an early lead, parading alongside Orlando Go and pulling Farah Dagobio and his teammate along the course. In the final stretch, Fulminzef surged ahead to secure an easy win. Fouror, also trained by Narduzzi, finished strongly in second place, with Farah Dagobio taking third.
