Thus far only 2 of the 3-year-olds have raced, as most of them are “not ready yet”, probably because our breeders let them be born later in the season than is generally feasible for racehorses, because of our longer winters. Thus far, RAZA P, is our fastest 3-year-old. She is bred, owned and trained by Peter Deckers with the help of Anne Engels, assistant-trainer. This lovely chestnut is by HILAL AL ZAMAN ex RULAA (GB). Rulaa came to Belgium, thanks to her Iranian owner who got desperate of the inefficient and costly treatments in veterinarian clinics as she did not get pregnant for two seasons… By just natural simple breeding she produced a first colt, called Porcini P, who is now four-year-olds and already showed good aptitude. The following year Rulaa give birth to a little sister (by insemination with transported semen) RAZA P that seems to be even better than her older brother.
Joudanez (as winner of the older flock) has finally had the chance to prove his quality,
as more often than not, Gaëlle had to forfeit him because of minor health –problems. His two seconds earlier in the season let assume that he could do better and finally he lost today his maidens tag to the delight of his owners Thierry and Martine Gernay and their daughter Gaëlle, trainer of Joudanez (FR).
