On friday 13th of october 2023 (due to COVID, this time after several years), the Belgian Galop Federation organized the “Golden Whip” ceremony. The best Professional Jockey of the season, as well as the best Gentleman Rider and the Best Lady Amateur of the season receive the ‘Golden Whip’ of the season.
Interesting for us, is to note that for this reward, the victories in AHRCB-races are also included, which proves the recognition we have obtained for the races for Arabian purebred horses!
The best trainer (also by number of victories) and the most successful owner were also honored and received each a classic bronze of a horse with jockey.
Next were honored the presidents of the ‘Organizing Societies’, corresponding to each of the three racetracks (Ostend, Ghlin and Waregem).
Another positive point for AHRCB (and novelty) was that the President of the BelGalopFed decided also to honor the fourth organizing society, this one linked to the Arab Horse breed. Thus, Nelly Philippot-Hermanne, as President of AHRCB, was also offered a keepsake as thanks for 25 years of efforts to complement favorably the activities of the TB-calendar with at least one “Arab-race” per meeting.
